S1 Woodworking
Google classroom: Room 9-48 (2kj4xaw) / Room 9-49 (7j2r55n) Objective: The main goal of this course is to give you, the student a basic understanding and application of woodworking and woodworking procedures; in this we have product design, layout, and safe and proper machine/tool use and adjustment. Original design and creativity is highly encouraged. Note: A work log will be given to the student and is to be handed in at the end of each class to be checked off for a mark. At the end of the semester all checkmarks will be accumulated for a maximum of 25% of the students final grade. The student must achieve a grade of no less than 100% on each machine safety quiz to be able to operate said machine, the quizzes can be written as often as the student needs to achieve a satisfactory grade (100%). Please keep in mind that this is for your own safety and not a way for Mr. Correia to keep you from working on your project.
